A rant dedicated to Patrick’s latest statement.

I hope every single one of you that ever put things like “I miss chubby Patrick!!!!” in the Patrick stump tag here on tumblr or even contacted himself by saying he should get back to fall out boy and his solo project is shit, is happy. I don’t think that you are actually clear about the situation. Just because Patrick has a lot of money doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about what people think about his music. He is, sadly, only one of the few musicians of our generation who still a) have talent and b) are passionate about what they do. After all he’s just a with anxiety filled human being like me and you.

And now don’t you dare you to disrespect someone as talented as him by telling him to stop what he loves doing. Oh. Wait! You already did. And that’s the reason he literally wants to crawl into a corner and never come out. Totally understandable from my point of view.

I want you to go through what he had to. I want you to have the amount of talent he has, combined with all the hate he gets for it. And then I want you to say all of the bullshit you were “wishing for” again.

You wouldn’t though. But that doesn’t change the fact that you are sad and pathetic and I want YOU to disappear instead of someone who’s supposed to live his life the way he wants to.
